This program provides financial support of up to $200 per eligible child, ages 3 to 18, helping parents and guardians purchase school clothing and supplies of their choice.
Administered through the Navajo Financial Assistance Unit (FAU), the program is funded through Navajo Nation and federal resources to serve families across the Nation.
“The opening of the portal marks an important opportunity for families to prepare their children for the upcoming school year,” said President Nygren. “By ensuring students have proper clothing and essential supplies, the program helps remove barriers to education, supporting attendance, boosting confidence, and promoting academic success.”
NDCFS continues its broader mission to strengthen families and communities through additional support services.
These include the Burial Assistance Program, the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) and the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP).
Families seeking assistance or more information are encouraged to contact their local NDCFS offices. For inquiries, call 928-871-6556 or email fau_submissions@ndcfs.org.
Through the opening of this portal and its continued programs, NDCFS remains committed to ensuring Navajo families have access to the resources they need to thrive.
