Navajo Nation President Buu Nygren is advancing a $1 million initiative aimed at helping Navajo entrepreneurs and small businesses become loan-ready, access capital and build stronger businesses.
Through the Navajo Small Business Credit Initiative Technical Assistance Program, the Navajo Nation Division of Economic Development is working with Change Labs, Inc. to provide eligible businesses with professional assistance in accounting, legal services, financial planning, bookkeeping, business development and loan preparation.
The program is designed to strengthen access to financing for Navajo-owned businesses, including very small businesses and entrepreneurs in rural and underserved communities.
The program will provide one-on-one business coaching, connect entrepreneurs with accounting, legal and business.
