For November and December, NAPI food box distributions will continue across chapters throughout the Navajo Nation. These distributions help provide families with essential food staples as we move into the winter season.

Each distribution site will be handing out:

  • 50-pound bags of potatoes
  • 20-pound bags of beans
  • 25-pound bags of flour
  • 10-pound bags of blue, yellow, and white cornmeal

This effort is made possible through the Navajo Nation Washington Office (NNWO), which secured a USDA grant to support food security across our communities. I’m grateful for the partnership with the Navajo Department of Agriculture, USDA’s Local Food Purchase Program, Navajo Pride, and NAPI.
