Sixteen proud Sun Devils from Tse’ Chizhi Diné Bi Olta – Rough Rock Community School – turned their tassels yesterday beneath the iconic Big Mountain, ready to begin their next chapter with hearts full of hope, pride, and determination.

On May 28, the Tse’Chizhi Diné Bi Olta graduation was more than just a ceremony — it was a moment of triumph, resilience, and celebration. As families gathered, each graduate stood tall, grounded in their cultural values to reach toward the future.

Whether heading to college, the workforce, the military, or charting their unique path, these Diné youth show us that success has many directions. And just like two beloved characters from Toy Story, their journey is full of courage and vision.

As the character Woody says, “Reach for the sky” — a reminder to never be afraid to lift your eyes beyond the horizon and go after your dreams. And like Buzz Lightyear, we believe these graduates are destined to go “To infinity… and beyond.”

This moment belongs to them — a future wide open and full of possibility. We’re incredibly proud of our Sun Devils. You carry not just diplomas, but the hopes of generations and the strength of your people.

Ahéhee’ to the families, educators, and community members who helped them soar.

Next stop: The sky of boundless opportunities. Congratulations to the 2025 Sun Devils!
