The Page Lady Sand Devils entered the Final Four with a 15–14 overall record and a 6–5 region finish — a season built on persistence, growth, and belief. Standing across from them was a tough Yuma Catholic High School Shamrocks team that came in 23–6 overall and undefeated in region play.
From the opening tip, this was a battle. Page answered every run, showing poise under pressure and resilience when the game tightened. After leading 12–10 at the end of the first and carrying a 27–22 edge into halftime, the Sand Devils faced a strong third-quarter surge from Yuma Catholic. But champions respond — and Page did just that.

With clutch free throws, key defensive stops, and timely buckets down the stretch, the Sand Devils pulled away in the final minutes to secure a 57–48 victory. Their unity, composure, and determination proved that heart outweighs any record on paper.

We commend Yuma Catholic for a hard-fought and competitive game.

Now, history is made — both Navajo Nation teams are headed to the 3A State Championship. The Page Lady Sand Devils will face Window Rock tomorrow at 1:30 PM at the Arizona Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
