Navajo Nation leaders visited families in Tuba City receiving new ARPA homes, highlighting powerful stories of resilience and gratitude. President Nygren said each home represents security, opportunity, and progress as the Nation continues delivering long-awaited housing.

President Nygren visited Ganado Primary for the Annual Turkey Trot, running alongside Pre-K to 2nd graders and celebrating movement, wellness, and community. The school set a record with 35 turkey donations, rewarding top finishers and promoting healthy habits for families.

President Nygren joined Tuba City volunteers and leaders to distribute hundreds of Thanksgiving meals, celebrating K’é and the spirit of service. From kitchen crews to organizers, community members ensured elders and families received warm, heartfelt meals.

President Nygren honored Specialist Terrell Atcitty, the first Navajo to directly enlist in the U.S. Space Force. Serving in the Honor Guard, Atcitty has earned top awards, embraces his Navajo roots, and hopes to inspire future Native service members.

President Nygren finished the Monument Valley Half Marathon, joining runners from across the nation in a demanding, scenic race through iconic sandstone formations. The event, supported by Navajo YES and volunteers, honored endurance, community, and Diné pride.

President Nygren met with Window Rock High DECA officers to highlight youth leadership, the chapter’s 20% growth, national competition successes, and stronger community involvement. The discussion focused on mentorship and expanding career-ready opportunities for Navajo students.

President Nygren met and rode with elite cyclists Danny MacAskill, Elly Hoskin, and Caleb Holonko during a special session with Silver Stallion. They discussed expanding youth cycling, increasing access to bikes, and building future riding programs across the Navajo Nation.

The 7th annual Red Mesa Wood Drive delivered 40–45k lbs of firewood to Utah families and elders, supported by volunteers and President Nygren’s team. The effort highlights community unity, service, and growing grassroots support for those relying on wood heat.

The renovated St. Michaels Chapter House opens today, showcasing the Navajo Nation’s push to complete long-awaited projects. The modern facility will better serve 2,665 voters and highlights President Nygren’s momentum in advancing community improvements across the Nation.
