WINDOW ROCK, Navajo Nation — Navajo Nation President Buu Nygren has moved to change the leadership of the Navajo Nation Veterans Administration.
On Jan. 13, the president thanked NNVA Executive Director James D. Zweirlein for his service, asked him to continue for six weeks and to ensure that he assist his replacement to be trained and supported.
No replacement has been announced. President Nygren will meet with the Navajo Nation Veterans Advisory Council for its recommendations for a new director.
