Twenty-Five Years Later, We Remember. We Honor. We Stand United.Today, the Navajo Nation joins our country in solemn remembrance of September 11, 2001. We honor the nearly 3,000 lives lost, the families forever changed, and the first responders and service members whose courage in our nation’s darkest hours showed us the true meaning of sacrifice.
Twenty-five years later, that spirit of service lives on. I offer my deepest gratitude to our Navajo law enforcement officers, firefighters, EMS personnel, dispatchers, first responders, and all who protect our people every day. You answer the call when our communities need you most. We see you. We honor you. We thank you.
Today, across the Navajo Nation, we stand united and in reverence — remembering those we lost, honoring those who serve, and reminding ourselves that our greatest strength will always be found in one another.
