President Buu Nygren has officially proclaimed June 2026 as Navajo Nation Pride Month. The proclamation recognizes the longstanding role of LGBTQ+ and Two-Spirit Diné people in Navajo families and communities while reaffirming the Nation’s commitment to dignity, equality, inclusion, and the traditional value of K’é. It also acknowledges the contributions of advocacy organizations and encourages all Navajo citizens to celebrate diversity, compassion, and mutual respect.
