Navajo Nation President Buu Nygren and Speaker Crystalyne Curley host morning Prayer Service

WINDOW ROCK, Ariz. — Earlier today, President Nygren was joined by Speaker Curley and Council Delegate Shawna Ann Claw for an “Active-Duty Warrior Prayer Service” for our Diné men and women serving in the United States military across the globe.

The event was held at the Veterans Memorial Park in front of the Navajo Nation Office of the President & Vice President in Window Rock, Arizona.

“This morning, Vice President Richelle Montoya and I join the 25th Navajo Nation Council to offer our prayers of protection for all our warriors around the world who are serving to protect our way of life,” said President Nygren. “We recognize their valor and unfaltering service to the Navajo Nation and the United States. Our Navajo warriors are known for their bravery and patriotism, and we remember them today.”

The President also recognized the dedicated years of service of former Council Delegate Eugene Tso, a renowned Chinle community leader and U.S. Army veteran.
