Stage 2 Fire Restrictions are now in effect across the Navajo Nation under Executive Order 03-2026. The order prohibits fireworks, debris burning, open fires, and several industrial activities because of extreme fire danger caused by hot, dry, and windy conditions. Ceremonial fires remain allowed with proper permits. Violators face fines of up to $5,000. Residents are urged to report wildfires immediately and use extreme caution while outdoors.
