Under President Buu Nygren’s administration, $400M+ has been approved for roads and transportation across the Navajo Nation, reflecting an 8x higher improvement and setting a new benchmark for investment on the Navajo Nation. Road maintenance has doubled to 30+ miles per chapter yearly, helping improve safety and accessibility for Navajo communities.
More than 6,000 potholes have been filled across the Navajo Nation while major Highway 264 and Highway 64 roadway projects continue advancing.
“These roads connect our families, emergency services, schools, businesses, and communities. Every mile repaired represents progress for the Navajo people. We are committed to improving infrastructure across the Navajo Nation and building roads our future generations can depend on,” said Navajo Nation President Buu Nygren.
