SHIPROCK, N.M. – Families, friends, educators, and community members gathered Thursday evening to celebrate the Shiprock High School Class of 2026 as graduates walked across the stage and officially closed one chapter of their journey while preparing for the next.
Navajo Nation President Buu Nygren joined graduates and families in recognizing the accomplishments of the Class of 2026 and encouraging students to continue believing in themselves as they move forward into college, careers, military service, and new opportunities.
As tassels turned and caps filled the evening sky, the celebration reflected not only the success of individual graduates, but the strength of families, teachers, and communities who helped guide them to this achievement.
