WINDOW ROCK, Ariz. — Navajo Nation President Buu Nygren signed a new business site lease agreement between the Navajo Nation and Clan Brothers, LLC, supporting continued services and economic activity in Teec Nos Pos, Arizona.
The lease, approved under Resolution No. DEDA-334-2026 by the Division of Economic Development’s Business Site Lease Approving Committee, authorizes Clan Brothers, LLC to continue operating services on approximately 1.15 acres of Navajo Nation trust land located in the Teec Nos Pos commercial area in Apache County.
The agreement allows the business to continue providing real estate management, property maintenance services, and operations supporting the United States Post Office serving the Teec Nos Pos community.
“This lease helps ensure continued services for the Teec Nos Pos community while strengthening economic development opportunities on the Navajo Nation,” said President Nygren. “Supporting responsible business operations on Navajo land allows us to create stability for local services and generate revenue that benefits our people.”
The business site lease has an initial term of 25 years, with the option for two additional 25-year renewal terms, subject to Navajo Nation approval and compliance with tribal regulations. The lease also establishes a rental structure beginning at $4,000 annually, with scheduled adjustments every five years, with payments supporting the Navajo Nation through the Office of the Controller.
The lease was reviewed and approved through the Navajo Nation’s Business Leasing Regulations and Economic Development policies, which guide responsible business development on Navajo Nation trust lands.
The agreement reflects ongoing efforts by the Navajo Nation Division of Economic Development to support community services, strengthen local economies, and promote sustainable development across the Navajo Nation.
