Wóózhchįįd, or the eaglets first cry. The eggs have hatched, and the Eaglets make their first sound during this moon phase. Their cry carries across the land, clearing away the heaviness of winter. The Thunderbird stirs in the eastern sky, thunder rolls once more, and Mother Earth awakens and stretches. Seeds push through the soil. Spring begins. As the land renews itself, we also rise — stretching, reflecting, and restoring our health and spirit. Between Father Sky and Mother Earth, new growth begins again.
