WINSLOW, Ariz. — In a tightly contested non-league showdown on Feb. 13, the Winslow Bulldogs held off the visiting Alchesay Falcons for a 55-51 victory in front of an energized home crowd.

Both teams battled back and forth throughout the evening, trading key baskets and defensive stops. Alchesay kept the pressure on late, cutting the deficit in the final minutes and forcing Winslow to execute down the stretch. The Bulldogs responded with poised ball-handling and timely free throws to secure the four-point win.

The Falcons showed resilience, attacking the rim and contesting shots on the defensive end, but Winslow’s composure in crunch time proved to be the difference.

With the victory, the Bulldogs gain momentum heading into the season’s final stretch, while Alchesay departs with confidence after pushing the game to the closing possessions of a hard-fought battle.
