SALT LAKE CITY, Utah — Navajo Nation President Buu Nygren and First Lady Jasmine Blackwater-Nygren were honored to attend the world-renowned Christmas Tabernacle Choir concert on December 11, a beloved annual tradition celebrated for its grandeur, artistry, and the uplifting spirit of the Christmas season.
Each year, this iconic performance draws audiences from around the world and is widely regarded as one of the most sought-after holiday concerts. Featuring hundreds of voices accompanied by a full orchestra, the evening delivered a breathtaking musical experience that reflected joy, reverence, and unity.
President Nygren and the First Lady were graciously invited by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, whose hospitality made the experience especially meaningful. The Church sponsored President Nygren’s visit and ensured a warm and welcoming experience throughout the evening. Prior to the concert, President Nygren and First Lady Blackwater-Nygren also attended a dinner, providing an opportunity for fellowship and reflection ahead of the performance.
