As families gather across Diné Bikéyah to give thanks, I want to extend my deepest gratitude to each of you. You are the reason I chose to serve. My priority has always been and will continue to be the Navajo people. I will keep fighting for progress, dignity, and opportunity for every Diné family.

During this season of gratitude, I encourage every Diné family to pause, reflect, and give thanks for the blessings in your life — your health, your family, and the accomplishments that carry you forward.

Take time to check on your loved ones, visit them, call them, remind them how much they mean to you. Life is short, and this holiday reminds us to be content with what we have, to be grateful, and to cherish the people who walk alongside us.

On behalf of me, your Navajo Nation President, and the First Lady Jasmine Blackwater-Nygren, I wish you and your loved ones a peaceful, safe, and blessed Thanksgiving. Ahéhee’.
