Farmington, N.M. — Under the bright Friday night lights, Navajo Nation President Buu Nygren joined fans and families to cheer on the Navajo Preparatory School Eagles as they faced the Jal Panthers.

The Eagles held strong through the fourth quarter, sealing the win with a final score of 22–13. The victory marked a defining moment for Navajo Prep, securing another spot in the NM State Playoffs.
