To the Firefighters,
On behalf of the Diné we’d like to send our appreciation and deepest ahéheé (thank you) to the firefighters for their continued strength, bravery and sacrifice.
Your selfless actions have protected our families, livestock homes and our sacred lands. We are humbled by your sacrifice and unwavering dedication to keeping us safe, even under dangerous and exhausting conditions.
Your presence brings hope and reassurance to us all. You brought back safety and balance to us during this time of tragedy. We honor your courage and dedication.
Please know that your efforts have not gone unnoticed. We stand with you and thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
