The Navajo Nation Council announced in an August 13, 2025, press release that the Special Division of the Window Rock District Court appointed Kyle Nayback, Esq., as special prosecutor to investigate matters related to the Indigenous Design Studio + Architects (IDSA), ZenniHome, and Native Community Capital.
As the leader of the Executive Branch, I support and welcome an independent, fair, and transparent investigation, and one that the Navajo People will have full confidence in.
By launching this investigation, Council is only taking away from the needs of the Navajo people, but as I have always said – I welcome the investigation because I am confident that we did nothing wrong. Along with unity, our focus should be on the needs of the people — improving infrastructure, repairing and building roads, creating jobs, and strengthening public safety.
Let us all continue to pray for unity within the Navajo Nation government and for the people.
