A Navajo woman-owned business is reaffirming its long-term commitment to the Navajo Nation.

Ayani Neez Inc. is moving forward with the renewal of its lease with the Navajo Nation, continuing a partnership that began more than two decades ago. First established on July 12, 2000, the lease provided a 15-year term with an option to renew for an additional 15 years.

On January 29, the company formally exercised that renewal option, seeking to extend the lease through July 12, 2041, in full compliance with Navajo Nation law and applicable federal regulations. The renewal request has been formally acknowledged by the Office of the President of the Navajo Nation.

Beyond compliance, Ayani Neez Inc. represents local investment and community-based economic growth. As a Navajo woman-owned business, the company supports local jobs and contributes to the economic vitality of the Nation. It remains in good standing with the Office of the Navajo Tax Commission and received procurement clearance in December 2025.

The company has also reinvested in the leased property, completing upgrades to heating, cooling, and fire suppression systems to improve safety, efficiency, and long-term usability. These improvements reflect a broader commitment to responsible stewardship of Navajo Nation assets.

The lease renewal reflects a shared commitment between Ayani Neez Inc. and the Navajo Nation to long-term partnership, regulatory integrity, and community-centered economic development—building not just for today, but for the next generation.
